Hey gorgeous! I'm Kathleen aka Kat- the lady behind the lens. I am a lifestyle photographer who specializes in creating authentic portraits for brands and personal brands. My goal? To capture real, authentic images that actually represent you and your business. I know being in front of the camera can feel awkward-that's where I come in. I'll guide you through the process, make sure you feel comfortable and keep things fun (i .e. fun music tailored to you to dance along to during our shoot). Leave the details up to me and we will go and have a magical time together in whatever location you choose. If you need, I have a style guide that can help you navigate the stressful territory of dressing in the right colors/fabrics/textures. Any last min ideas? You can shoot them my way via email/text and I will do my best to accommodate you.

People are my passion and getting to photograph you, in whatever capacity that is, is the best! I thrive on creating beautiful art with each and every one of you. My past clients would probably say that a session with me is typically fun, laid back & just like hanging out with a friend, who happens to have a camera. I love to get people to be their most authentic selves, so when you show up, just be you! I will help with the rest- getting you comfortable in front of the camera and getting those REAL photographs.

I am first and foremost, a wife to my sweet English hubby and a mama to 3 little ones & 2 fur babies. I am originally from Northern VA, but have lived in Southern California for most of my adult life. My happy place is spending time with my family & close girlfriends. I enjoy good food and wine, my toes in the sand on any beach, dancing & snowboarding. Our family has been known to have a decent dance party before bedtime! My favorite vacation spot is Santa Teresa, Costa Rica and anywhere in the south of France. I love to travel & I thrive on meeting new people.
My passion for photography originally began in 2009 when I bought my first DSLR ahead of a trip to Europe. From that point on, I fell in love with trying to freeze moments in time & capture the beauty everywhere. To me, photography is thrilling- every experience is an adventure and everyone has a story to tell. I would be honored and thrilled to tell yours.
